Priorities

1. Integration

Merge the department structures to become one organization and increase our ability to better serve our clients and community.

  • Creating an integrated org chart.
    • Conducting analyses to better understand client needs related to the new structure.
    • Review our internal workflows/processes for efficiency.
  • Develop a staff-informed and well-rounded communication plan for our integrated org. Manage and communicate the transition of our brand and identity.
  • Enhance staff culture and relationships through increasing awareness and understanding of our work.
  • Improve and integrate the client experience, especially for those engaging in several of our services.
  • Document our merger story and share our success widely!

2. Culture

Align the organization around our shared Mission and Values-Based Culture to create an empowered, engaged, and cohesive team.

  • Create and implement a commitment, framework, and plan to root values of equity and inclusion within TCWH, with a plan for a specific focus on creating and implementing diverse recruitment strategies.
  • Explore developing an accountability and support system to accompany this commitment.
  • Collaborate with Team JEDI on county-wide initiatives.
    • Create a plan to enhance equity and inclusion within TCWH long-term, including opportunities to document and share success.
  • Explore ways to embed and bring to life our Values-Based Culture.

3. Community

  • Visualize (map) our network of community partners and resources and use this to develop a plan to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze our community engagement practices and develop tailored strategies to build out engagement with (and awareness of) our available resources and services.
  • Develop a unified strategy/approach to collaborating on funding with community partners.

4. Data

Review and establish effective data collection to measure programmatic, organizational and county progress against our priorities.

  • Develop a coordinated plan for collection and analysis of health equity focused data.
    • Outline an internal process for data-based decision-making.
  • Assess perceptions and understanding of organizational values through surveys or other mechanisms and use findings to develop actionable plans.
  • Create a regular review process for programs and services to be evaluated for inclusivity and equity.
