Tompkins County will host a virtual COVID-19 update on YouTube this Thursday, August 5 at 4:30pm. Tompkins County Medical Director Dr. William Klepack, Cayuga Health System CEO Dr. Martin Stallone, Interim County Administrator Lisa Holmes, and Deputy County Administrator and head of the Emergency Operations Center Amie Hendrix will be present to give updates and answer questions. The update will be moderated by Tompkins County Legislator Shawna Black. The event can be viewed live on YouTube at https://youtu.be/aG2XZ8k4MlY.
Updates will be shared on the prevalence of COVID-19 in Tompkins County, vaccination progress, last week’s health advisory, and the current status of state and local guidance and mandates.
