This spring the Health Promotion Program at the Tompkins County
Health Department, and the Health Planning Council are urging
employees and co-workers to "Imagine Action
Your Way."
"Imagine Action" is a spring activity
program that helps participants track their level of physical
activity (PA). There's almost no end to the health benefits
of regular physical activity, and all physical activity counts!
Walking, dancing, digging or dusting it's easier than
you might think to count PA as part of your day.
"Imagine Action
Your Way"
helps make physical activity count for you. Using the Physical
Activity Counts (PAC) scoresheet (available at your worksite)
everyday routines can add up to the physical activity you
need to be your best for you and those who count on
you.
Do it on your own, with a buddy, or set up
a team challenge! Welcome the season, and have fun!
