Purchasing Division

The goal of the Purchasing Division is to obtain the goods and services required by Tompkins County departments at the best possible price.  These goals are achieved in accordance with GML 103 and 104b and policy 06-07 of the Policies and Procedures of Tompkins County Government.

Bid opportunities are advertised in The Ithaca Journal.  Specifications are posted in the "Open Solicitations" section of the Tompkins County Purchasing website. This link goes directly to where the county posts bid & RFP opportunities, along with a number of other NYS and local governments. Bidders wishing to obtain specifications must fill in the free registration information and/or login to access, and respond to, specifications.
