On February 18, 2023 at 11:02 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the old Pizza Hut building located at 2301 N. Triphammer Road in the Village of Lansing.
Deputies spoke with the occupants of the vehicle and during their conversation observed a beaker with what appeared to have methamphetamine inside. At the conclusion of their investigation, Deputies located three baggies of methamphetamine, a plastic vial containing methamphetamine and the glass beaker with methamphetamine that was previously observed.
Deputies arrested the passenger, Stormie R. Coyne, age 45 of Brooktondale, NY. Coyne was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (Class D Felony). Coyne was turned over to Centralized Arraignment to be arraigned later that afternoon.
