Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Update 

1. Thank you to everyone who participated in our short survey. Your input provides us with useful information as we develop policies and ideas to include in the plan. The deadline for submissions was July 19, 2024.

•  Исследование пешеходной и велосипедной зоны East Shore Drive

  В рамках этого проекта разрабатывается технико-экономическое обоснование для капитального проекта по повышению безопасности пешеходов и велосипедистов, а также разрабатываются проекты по соединению существующей многоцелевой инфраструктуры троп примерно на 700' East Shore Drive (NYS-34) между средней школой Бойнтона (N. Cayuga Street) и Молодежное бюро Итаки (д-р Джеймс Л. Гиббс). Это ключевой коридор, обеспечивающий важную связь с парком Стюарт и прибрежной тропой Cayuga Waterfront Trail для пешеходов, бегунов и велосипедистов всех возрастов из разных районов города Итака, а также близлежащих районов города Итака и деревни Каюга-Хайтс. Коридор также является важным и загруженным маршрутом для легковых и грузовых автомобилей, включая расположение въездов и съездов для NYS-13 с доступом к NYS-34.

  The NEW Way2Go website has up-to-date transportation information right at your fingertips!

  This new user-friendly resource was developed in response to our community’s request for a one-stop site where all transportation information is in one place.
  Visit Way2Go.org to explore local, regional, medical, and peer transportation options.

  Way2Go is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County. We help connect community members with the available transportation options in the area

   through individual consultations, group workshops, community events, and resources like our videos, brochures, and new website.

 NEXT COMMITTEE MEETING:   

ITCTC Joint Planning & Policy Committees

Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transit Facility, 737 Willow Ave., Ithaca, N.Y.

This meeting will be held in-person with a remote option. 

All regularly scheduled committee meetings begin with a public comment period and will always be held in accessible facilities.
