Related to the CrowdStrike outage affecting Microsoft systems worldwide, the following Tompkins County services are impacted:
- The Tompkins County Department of Motor Vehicles is closed to the public this morning, further updates will be posted to https://www.tompkinscountyny.gov/dmv and https://www.facebook.com/tompkinsdmv/
- The Tompkins County Department of Social Services is meeting clients in the lobby and unable to process online applications and paperwork. Clients can expect to receive more information at the Human Services Building. Clients can use the DSS website (https://tompkinscountyny.gov/dss) or call (607) 274-5680 to schedule an appointment.
At this time other County services remain accessible. Tompkins County thanks the public for their patience as this matter is resolved.
