Reasons I sold my car:

I moved back to Ithaca in 2000 and have lived (near Washington Park) and worked (near DeWitt Park) since then. I walk to work everyday and saw my car being used once-a-week or so and decided to sell it. I had lived in Washington DC and Boston without a car and figured I can try it here as well. Besides, I still owed two more years on my car, plus insurance and maintenance cost, it was like getting $3500-a-year pay raise!
