The Curb Your Car Coalition Meeting was held at 3:30 p.m. on April 5, 2005 at the Old Jail House on Court Street.

Present: David, Nicole, Yael, Michael, Kristen, Lois, Fernando, Tanya, Jennifer, Margot

Website Updates

• We need to eliminate out-of-date announcements, etc.
• What’s most important is to post events.
• She’ll show her work at next meeting.
• Nicole and Fernando will make sure the site will work and be compatible with Dreamweaver for future webmasters.

Earth Day: Rick Manning wants to participate with CYC. He’s got trail material. We can use leftover material from last year. Tanya has some.

Some pedometer discussions, david has 2 pedometers; margot has one.
we’ll e-mail the winner.  Tanya has a poster.

Ithaca Festival Parade:

1. Theme:  “Curb Your Car; it’s a breeze . . .to walk, etc”
2. Concern over looking like a unit.
3. The banner should go first, then the bus, then the trolley.
4. Where is our banner? Yael is going to walk over to the bus depot to look for it.

Odds and Ends:
-Discussion on changing time of meeting: would more people be able to come? No.
-Do we have a generic brochure for CYC?
-The mayor is giving an award to four PE teachers who promote walking.
