Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) is announcing an employment opportunity for a Community Health Coordinator as well as ongoing recruitment for Registered Professional Nurses to support the Tompkins County COVID-19 Response Team. The Community Health Coordinator will oversee case monitoring and the Registered Professional Nurses will serve as per-diem case investigators. Community Health Coordinator: This position includes coordinating a team of individuals responsible for positive case monitoring for symptom assessments, providing support to individuals who are following isolation guidance, and releasing individuals from isolation.

Registered Professional Nurses (Per Diem): This position will serve as Case Investigators to assist in TCHD efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. Duties will include contacting positive cases and conducting an interview to determine close contacts, assess symptoms, and ensure those placed in isolation comply with regulations.
