Tompkins County residents are encouraged to participate in a short survey for the organization’s Strategic Operations Plan. The County is drafting its first Strategic Operations Plan, which will include new mission and vision statements, organizational values, and strategic priorities. The current drafts were developed following initial input from the community, County staff and elected Legislators, and local partner organizations and stakeholder groups.
The survey, including the draft statements, values, and priorities, can be found online at https://tcgov.co/strategicplan. The survey will remain open until February 28.

Tompkins County’s strategic plan will help set a clear direction for the organization’s future, as well as outline goals and objectives. The plan will help Tompkins County prioritize its resources and allocate them to best meet new goals and objectives. Tompkins County will focus its efforts on the areas identified as most critical to achieving its desired outcomes and to adapt its plans as circumstances change.
