On 10/30/24 at about 5:45 pm deputies responded to the intersection of West Dryden Rd and Sheldon Road in the Town of Dryden for a reported two-vehicle crash with injuries. Daniel L. Heath, age 63, of Dryden NY was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center by LifeNet where he succumbed to his injuries. It was determined that Heath was traveling south on Sheldon Road when he did not stop at the stop sign at Sheldon Road causing the collision. The operator of the other vehicle was transported to Upstate Medical Center by ambulance with unspecified injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening.
