Aggravated DWI Arrest

On May 11th, 2019 at 3:30 AM, Tompkins County Sheriffs Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2010 Mercury Sedan on Buffalo Street in the City of Ithaca.  Deputies conducted the stop after recieving two reports of an intoxicated driver operating the vehicle which they learned during the course of a domestic dispute investigation.  Deputies iintervewed the driver, Christopher L. Davis, age 54 of Ithaca and observed signs of impairment.  Deputies conduced a DWI Investigation which resulted in Davis' arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. 

Davis was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with BAC of .18% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Open Container of Alchol in a Motor Vehicle (Traffic Infraction) and Refusal to Submit to a Roadside Breath Test (Traffic Infraction).  Davis was processed and released to a third party and ordered to return to the City of Ithaca Court at a later date.
