DWI Drugs Arrest

On March 31st, 2018 at 3:51 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the New York State Police responded to West Danby Road, near Piper Road in the Town of Newfield for a Property Damage Accident.  Deputies interviewed the driver, Scott E. Gentile, age 36 of Spencer, NY.  After observing signs of impairment, deputies conducted a DWI Investigation which resulted in Gentiles arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. 

Gentile was charged with Moving From Lane Unsafely (Violation), Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor).  Gentile was released after posting bail and ordered to return to the Town of Newfield Court at a later date.
