False Impersonation

On May 29th, 2019 at about 8:00 PM, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office responded to an address in the Town of Lansing for a dispute involving a weapon. Subsequent to an investigation, deputies located the fleeing suspect vehicle in the 300 Block of Auburn Road in the Town of Lansing. One occupant of the vehicle provided a false name and date of birth to deputies. Even after warning the occupant, he continued to identify himself by the false name. Deputies were familiar with the occupant from past arrests and positively identified him as ZACKERY D BURLINGAME (Age 31 of Lansing). BURGLINGAME was charged with False Personation. He was issued an appearance ticket and is set to appear in the Town of Lansing Court on June 11th, 2019 at 5:00 PM. Other persons involved in the dispute declined to pursue criminal charges from the dispute.
