DWI Crash

On March 3rd, 2019 at about 6:48 AM, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office responded to State Route 96 near Van Dorn Corners Road in the Town of Ulysses for a one vehicle crash. Deputies report a 2005 GMC was traveling north on State Route 96 when it lost control, struck a ditch, and overturned.  The driver was identified as HUNTER S ARCANGELI  (Age 25 of Burdett).  Deputies determined ARCANGELI was intoxicated. Deputies also located a quantity of a white powdery substance on his person.  This was later tested and confirmed to be cocaine.

ARCANGELI was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to take breath test, moved from lane unsafely, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree.  He was arraigned in the Town Ulysses Court.
