The Climate and Sustainable Energy Advisory Board regular meeting time is the first Thursday of the month at 4:15 PM. Due to COVID-19, the CaSE Board will be meeting remotely via Zoom until further notice. Meeting details can be found in the respective monthly agenda.

The CaSE Board provides the Tompkins County Legislature expertly curated information on legislative and regulatory initiatives, and successful community programs, relating to energy and climate change, as well as emerging energy efficiency, renewables, and climate adaptation technologies.


  • Up to nine voting members 
  • Two-year terms
Members should have demonstrated involvement or interest in local climate action, energy conservation, energy efficiency or renewable energy.
Appointment is by the County Legislature.
