Video Tribute Recognizes POW/MIA Warriors

Monday, September 21, 2020

The Tompkins County Department of Veterans services invites all to view the virtual commemoration of the 2020 POW/MIA Recognition Day. Normally held on the third Friday in September at Myers Point by the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 377, this year’s event was canceled due to COVID-19. Rather than see this 30-year tradition interrupted, Team RWB-Ithaca collaborated with the Cornell Veterans Colleague Network Group, Cornell ROTC, and the County’s Department of Veterans Services to honor the VVA #377’s efforts through a special video tribute that can be found online at

For those with additional thoughts, videos or images about our Missing Warriors to be shared, please send them to by September 23, 2020, for inclusion in the archive.
