Dryden Food Scraps Drop Spot Hours Impacted by Dairy Day Parade

Tuesday, June 5, 2018

The Tompkins County Food Scraps Recycling Drop Spot at the Dryden Town Highway Department will be open this Saturday, but operations will be impacted by the Dryden Dairy Day Parade.

Since the Highway Department parking lot is used as a staging area for parade entries, the Drop Spot will officially open one hour later than usual, at 10am. Users should be aware of changes in traffic patterns and limited access because of road closures until approximately10:30am.

The Drop Spot will remain open until 1:00pm this Saturday only as a result of the delayed start time.

We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
