Census Celebration in Collegetown Saturday, April 10

Friday, April 9, 2010
The County's Complete Count Census Committee invites the community to a Census celebration in Ithaca's Collegetown on Saturday, April 10, from 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m. The event will take place on the patio next to Collegetown Bagels, 415 College Avenue.

While the event is focused on building participation in the Collegetown neighborhood, which traditionally has been undercounted, the committee stresses that everyone from throughout the community is invited to attend. Census employees will be on hand to answer residents' questions and provide materials. In addition to 2010 Census commemorative items, there will be coupons and give-away items donated by local businesses, as well as other activities.

The Complete Count Committee is working to ensure that "Everyone Counts in Tompkins County."
