Person-Centered Dementia Care Caregiver Workshop

A free workshop for persons concerned about a relative or friend with Alzheimer’s or a related disorder is being held Thursday, November 7, 6:30-8:00 PM at the Tompkins County Office for the Aging, 214 W. Martin Luther King, Jr./State Street, Ithaca.

Martha Stettinius, author of Inside the Dementia Epidemic, will speak on the topic of “Person-Centered Dementia Care” and discuss ways family caregivers can learn to communicate and enjoy the company of a loved one even as the disease progresses.
