COVID19 2021-01-09 CDMS Interruptions

The Tompkins County Health Department (TCHD) is alerting the public that the New York State Clinical Data Management System (CDMS) used to register for COVID-19 vaccines is experiencing interruptions due to technical glitches. The Health Department is urging those in Phase 1A who are attempting to register to continue to periodically check the link available on the TCHD vaccination web page. Individuals in Phase 1A (healthcare workers) will remain the priority population to receive the vaccine as other groups become eligible.

The Health Department is aware of the Governor’s office announcement that registration will soon begin for Phase 1B. Currently TCHD is awaiting clarification on the Phase 1B eligible population and will communicate the eligibility list and registration process as soon as those details are available from New York State. Details on Phase 1B will be made available on TCHD’s COVID-19 vaccine web page (https://tompkinscountyny.gov/health/covid19vaccine) and communicated through a press release, robocall through the Swift 9-1-1 system (register here), social media, and other avenues.
