The Medical Academy of Science and Health, or M.A.S.H. Camp, is a unique experience where students have the opportunity to learn first-hand from health professionals working in a hospital. Camp activities are very hands-on and explore different areas of health care such as nursing, food service, pathology, physical therapy, clinical lab sciences, respiratory care, emergency medicine, and more. M.A.S.H. Camp is a joint collaboration between the Central NY AHEC, 15 partnering hospitals, and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. Camp hours run approximately from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Registration fees range from $15 to $40, depending on camp. Scholarships available based on financial need of family, call for information.
