Cornell University offers three and six-week academic sessions to high school students who have completed their sophomore, junior, or senior year by June 2012. Students take college courses with leading Cornell faculty, earn college credits, explore careers and majors, and focus on areas including architecture, art and design, business, college success, engineering, environmental studies, history and politics, hotel management, humanities, law and government, medicine, psychology, research and science, and veterinary medicine and animal science. Summer College is a great opportunity to experience college life, enhance your college applications, and make friends from around the world. Students must apply to each program and include an application, application statements, letter of recommendation by teacher or guidance counselor, high school transcript, current grade report, and any standardized test scores, if taken. This is a residential program; students live with and are supervised by head residents and residential community advisors. Residential staff are supervised by residential program director.
