ALDERSGATE CAMP & RETREAT CENTER
Located at the western edge of the Adirondack Park, just south of Lowville, NY, Aldersgate has an exciting summer program planned. Aldersgate operates June 24 – August 10 as a Resident Christian Summer Camp. Waterfront programming includes: swimming, kayaking, tubing, rowing, and an Aqua Slide. Campers will have the opportunity to create their own schedules by picking from a list of activities including, but not limited to: arts-n-crafts, t-shirt design, challenge course, nature study, team and individual sports such as soccer, basketball, biking, fishing, volleyball, archery, and more. Bible exploration, campfires, worship and traditional camp activities add to the fun. Our Wilderness area is our outpost area where we have platform tents and outdoor cooking. A creek for exploring and trails for trekking, are just a couple of the natural wonders this wild wilderness classroom has to offer. Aldersgate offers a wide range and variety of programs for children, youth, and families, ages 3 and up. Our youngest campers may choose a One Day Adventure. Explorers (ages 6-8) may choose a two day or week long program. Challengers (ages 9-11), Mountaineers (12-14) and Adventurers (ages 15-18) will choose from a week long program (Sun-Fri). Check out our family and grandparent camps if you want to camp as a family. Fees start at $420; $75 deposit with balance due 3 weeks prior to the start of camp. Register by May 1 to receive $10 off.
