Painted Bar Stables, 4093 Lake Ave., Burdett, offers a one week horseback riding youth program. This is a family run co-ed program with limited availability for children 10 -1 5 years old. All riders will be assigned their own horse for the week and will take two lessons each day: an arena lesson and a trail riding lesson. Once during the week riders will compete in pony club games! Because the Stables specialize in trail riding, all lessons and experiences will be geared towards encouraging our riders to develop the following skills: walk and trot, relationship building with their horse, problem solving and dealing with fear, and barn and stable management.
