University-based residential camp for health career exploration. This health careers exploration camp introduces young people to the health professions, the college admissions process, and life on a college campus setting. Through fun, interactive hands-on workshops, and educational lectures, campers are introduced to many fields in health, recreation, and health care. Camp will be held at Ithaca College School of Health Sciences and Human Performance in Ithaca. Camp is a joint collaboration of Central NY AHEC, Ithaca College, and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.

Program Information

Students entering grades 10, 11 or 12 in the fall of 2012

Ages: 15 to 18

Schedule: July 9 – 13, including both day and evening activities. Students stay in a college dormitory.

Fees: $425 per student inclusive of all costs. Limited scholarships available based on financial need of family, call for information.
