Ithaca Karate Harmony with Nature School offers karate and self-defense camps for youth, teens and adults. With the ancient energy practice of Five Animals Play providing a five day theme, instructors Kathleen Garrity and Robbie Sanders use stories and trainings in bo (staff), traditional karate, self-defense and assertiveness skills to teach a way of personal empowerment and mutual respect.

Program Information

Ages: 6 to 99

Schedule: Junior’s Camps (ages 6-12): June 25-29 at Fall Creek Elementary School; July 23-27 at Fall Creek Elementary School; August 20-24 for green belts and up at Upper Buttermilk State Park. 8:30 am – noon. Teens: July 9-13 at Taughannock State Park (North Point). Adults: August 3 – 5 at area parks.

Fees: Juniors & Teens: $120/week long camp; Adults: $60/weekend camp
