The Brooktondale Community Center's summer camp will take place from July 2 through August 10; Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Children who will start kindergarten in the fall up to age 12 are welcome; in addition there are some positions open for counselors in training, Jr. Counselors and an art director. We are fortunate to once again have Michelle Ciaschi as Camp Director. She is planning six weeks of fun including theme days, indoor and outdoor games, crafts and music. Campers learn cooperation, sportsmanship and how to make good choices. Theme days include water day, funny hat day among many others and each week has a different focus, such as animal awareness and care or theatre projects. Camp is once again $50 per week, we are certified by DSS and a few scholarships are available. Enrollment forms will be available soon at the Brooktondale Community Center, the Caroline Town Hall, Caroline Elementary School, Caroline Farmers Market, Brooktondale Post Office and Brookton’s Market. They can also be downloaded from www.brooktondalecc.org. Donations for camp scholarships or donations of funds for and/or craft supplies are welcome. Scholarship funds can be sent to the Brooktondale Community Center, P.O. Box 135, Brooktondale, NY 14817.
