Lions Camp Badger, located at 725 LaRue Road, Spencer will operate residential and day summer programs where campers, with and without disabilities, will build greater self-awareness, confidence, and independent skills, while providing their families and caregivers a break from the demands of constant care. We offer structured recreational and “experiential learning” camping programs for youth with special needs and their siblings. The purpose of our camping experience is to explore nature, discover their own interests and abilities, experience new adventures, practice social and life skills, and most important, make new friends and have fun. Activities include, but are not limited to swimming, boating, arts/crafts, dances, movies, games, sports, etc. We have handicap-accessible cabins and all activity buildings are accessible.
