Enrichment programs to be offered to youth living at Hanshaw Village, Congers, and Beaconview Mobile Home Parks in Freeville and Dryden. Programs will be held at 4-H Acres, on site at the mobile home parks, and other locations in and around Tompkins County. Exciting themes this summer will include gardening, food preservation, and wild crafting for sustainable, healthy feasting with as much outside time as possible, as well as nature exploration and field trips to connect with other local plant-folk! Programs support experiential and service learning. Detailed information and permission slips will be available in May at http://ccetompkins.org/4h/rural-youth-services/dryden-ours.
