Program Information

Full Day Camp & Recreation Program

Day camp

The Coddington Road Community Center offers an outdoor full day camp and a 3-hour recreation program on our serene, wooded 14 acres located at 920 Coddington Road, Ithaca. Youth entering into 1st – 5th grades and middle-school youth entering 6th – 8th grades may enroll. Enriching activities at our 2 outdoor pavilions include gardening, arts and crafts, drama, music, nature exploration, community guests and special events. Our ball field, sand pile, black top areas and nature trails are used for sports, games, free play and hikes. The full day camp offers field trips on some weeks and swim trips to Cass Park twice each week. Campers bring their own bag lunch; morning and afternoon snacks provided. Payment Deadlines: Each family will pay a non-refundable $15 Registration Fee. Enroll by May 31st: pay half at time of registration and half no later than June 24th. Enroll June 1st or later: payment due in full at time of registration. Enroll for 8+ weeks and receive a 10% discount; if weeks are cancelled, discount is forfeited.

Ages: 5 to 13

Schedule: Full Day Camp: June 27 - August 19. Special Session: August 20 – 30 (must be enrolled in 2 additional weeks of full day camp to attend). Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with extended care available from 7:30-9 a.m. and 4-5:30 p.m. for a flat rate of $20 per week. Recreation Program: July 9 - August 17, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Camp is closed July 4th.

Fees: Full Day Camp Elementary (Grades 1-5): $152/week; $172/week with extended care. Full Day Middle School (Grades 6-8): $132/week; $152 with extended care. Recreation Program: $60/week, snack included.

Counselor-In-Training Program

Enrichment

The CIT Program at the Coddington Road Community Center is open to teens who are interested in learning leadership and job skills through fun-filled, hands on training. Applicants must be at least 14 years or entering 9th or 10th grade. The CIT Program runs from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and requires a 2 week commitment. Additional camp weeks are available at the middle school rates. Teens 16 – 17 years, entering 11th – 12th grade, which completed one year of CIT training may apply to be a Jr. Counselor and will be paid on an hourly basis, with the opportunity to work additional weeks, depending upon performance and evaluations. Fees: $250 for the 2 week CIT program. Payment due in full when accepted into the program.
