Offering a 6-week recreation program for youth. Activities include arts and crafts, playground games, field trips, sports, and swimming at Taughannock Falls State Park.

Program Information

Day Care Program

Children must be enrolled in regular program to attend Day Care Program. In addition, to be eligible, children must have completed Kindergarten or be at least 6 years old by July 1st. FEE: listed below, included in this fee is: 1) Before and after regular program, 2) Playschool and swim bus, and 3) Lunch program.

Ages: 5 to 16

Schedule: June 25 - August 3; Drop-off: 7:30 a.m., Pick-up: 5:30 p.m. This program is an extension of the regular summer recreation program. This program starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 9:30 a.m. Children then go to regular playschool and swim bus program until 3:00 p.m. The afternoon extended program starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m.

Fees: Village/Town residents and Tburg School taxpayers: $600 for all 6 wks, or $125/wk (if signed up for less than 6 wks). All others: $620 for all 6 wks, or $130/wk (if signed up for less than 6 wks)

Playschool/Lunch & Swim Program

Offering a 6-week recreation program for youth. Activities include arts and crafts, playground games, field trips, sports, and swimming at Taughannock Falls State Park. There are a limited amount of scholarships available, must apply before June 18. Before and After care will be available (see Day Care Program details).

Ages: 5 to 16

Schedule: June 25 - August 3. AM Playschool (at Trumansburg Middle School) 9:30-11:30 a.m. Supervised Lunch (At Trumansburg Middle School) 11:30-12:30 p.m. (must attend both playschool and swim program). PM Swim Program (Taughannock Falls State Park) Bus leaves, from the Middle School, at 12:30 and returns at 3:00 p.m.

Enrollment Information: June 18 for scholarships

Fees: All fees are for all 6 weeks. Village/Town residents and Tburg School taxpayers: Playschool only-$100; Swim Bus only - $85; Both -$180 All others: Playschool only-$110; Swim Bus only - $95; Both -$200 Lunch Supervision - $25 for 6 weeks or $5/week.
