Program offers 30 years of experience in training dancers. An intensive 6-week session, two 3-week sessions or half-day sessions (for age 16 and up), are offered to dancers at the studios at 504-506 N. Plain Street, Ithaca. Daily classes in dance technique, daily ballet and pointe technique where applicable. Classes in Modern and Jazz, plus character, stretch, and conditioning; also composition class where campers learn to create their own choreography. Variations from the classical repertoire for advanced dancers. They provide a very solid foundation in correct classical ballet, combined with modern and jazz classes for added strength, versatility, and freedom of movement. Workshops with guest faculty in music, swing dance, stagecraft, anatomy, nutrition, and more. Recreation includes walks, sprinklers, and movies to give students a chance to cool down. Performance experience includes two end-of-session performances.

Ages: 8 to 18

Schedule: 6-week session: June 25 - Aug 3. Two 3-week sessions: June 25 -July 13 or July 16 - Aug 3. Half-day sessions (ages 16 and up) June 25 - Aug 3. 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Fees: Full 6 weeks: $950; 3-week sessions: $600, 6-week half-day sessions: $750. $100 deposit to be paid by June 1.
