Open Burning and Air Pollution Regulations in Tompkins County

Currently the information sheet, "Open Burning and Air Pollution Regulations in Tompkins County" is under review. This is in response to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Open Burning regulations, which went into effect on October 14, 2009.

Our office is also reviewing the Tompkins County Sanitary Code IX, Air Pollution Control.
