ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Courses
Two-Day Certification Course
This 2-day course provides nationally-recognized certification in food
safety and fulfills the new NYS mandatory food handler certification
requirement. A passing score on the certification exam confers certification for 5 years.
The ServSafe curriculum uses the
most recent FDA Food Code updates /standards and the recently
released text, ServSafe Essentials (5th ed.).

Employee and Volunteer Food Safety Course
One-Day
Course
A class in the basics of food safety for people who work or volunteer in food service settings. No certification exam is given at this half-day training, but participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Details: This training will cover:
- the basics of foodborne illness.
- purchasing, receiving and storing food.
- preparing, cooking and serving.
- cleaning and sanitizing.
