Tompkins County Unveils New and Improved TompkinsCountyNY.gov Website

Tompkins County has launched a new and improved website at www.tompkinscountyny.gov. The new site follows nearly two years of design, development, and content improvement efforts from County Administration and staff in all County departments. The new site is designed to be more user-friendly with enhanced navigation and accessibility to County services and resources.

Whole Health Office (55 Brown Rd.) Closure: 12/11/24, 12pm-2pm

Tompkins County Whole Health (TCWH) office at 55 Brown Road (Ithaca) will be closed on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, for staff development, from 12:00 PM (noon) to 2:00 PM. TCWH’s office at 201 E. Green St (Ithaca) will remain open for regular business hours.

Our answering service will receive phone calls and messages will be reviewed throughout the day. Call our main line: 607-274-6600.

Health Alert: E. coli Outbreak Linked to Organic Carrots

(11/19/2024) Tompkins County Whole Health (TCWH) is alerting the community to a recall on multiple sizes and brands of organic whole and baby carrots which were sold at grocery stores in our region (including Wegmans, Trader Joe’s, Tops and GreenStar Food Co-op). The carrots have been linked to an outbreak of E. coli from bagged organic whole and baby carrots from a single supplier.
