As is mandated on public transportation in New York State, masks continue to be required at the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport. This mandate is unaffected by recent federal-level decisions or rulings on mask requirements.

Deputy Director of the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport Josh Nalley stated, “Our airport continues to follow state and local guidance to keep our passengers and employees safe. Masks continue to be required in the airport, and we encourage passengers to look at additional local masking guidance both in Tompkins County and in the community they are flying to.”

For more information on masking in Tompkins County, please review the Tompkins County Health Department’s recent release.
