January 30, 2025 - DWI Accident Arrest

On January 30, 2025, at 10:15 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Etna Road and Mohawk Road, Town of Dryden for a vehicle off the roadway.  When they arrived, they located the vehicle and interviewed the driver, Michele Capone, age 55 of Dryden, NY.  Capone displayed signs of intoxication which prompted Deputies to conduct a DWI investigation that resulted in Capones arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.  

Capone was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (Class E Felony), Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and issued several other moving and non-moving violations related to the crash.  Capone was later released and ordered to appear at the Town of Dryden Court at a later date.
