The Division of Environmental Health ensures residents of Tompkins County have safe drinking water by monitoring and regulating public water systems and providing education and outreach support to homeowners with private drinking water wells.

Reporting, Payments, Testing, Service line inventory

• TCEHPWS Report Submission. Regulated water system sampling results and monthly operating reports (MORs) can now be submitted online. This is the preferred method for submitting this information to Environmental Health.
• Submit your water system payment online.
• Certified Water Testing Labs(PDF, 191KB).
• New York State Lead Service Line Inventory | State of New York. All federally defined public water systems are required to create comprehensive, publicly accessible inventories of the materials used in their service lines.
