We envision a future in which CDRC is the lead resource for nurturing constructive responses to the conflicts that inevitably occur in our communities. As a result of our work, the three counties we serve are places where individuals value themselves, value others, and value relationships.


Cornell Law Clinical Programs
In all types of cases, students will gain valuable litigation skills, negotiation skills, and client representation skills, by advocating for clients in a variety of administrative hearings and court proceedings. Students will also learn how to do client intakes and will help to decide which cases to accept for representation.

Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County
The mission of the Human Services Coalition is to identify information and service needs, to provide planning and coordination, and to enhance the delivery of health and human services in the Tompkins County area. The HSC's 2-1-1 Tompkins/Cortland Help-line connects people with services in the community. No question is too big or too small.


Legal Assistance of Western New York
LawNY® is a non-profit law firm that provides free legal aid to people in 14 counties in western New York. LawNY offices may be able to help you with problems such as welfare terminations, divorces, evictions, SSI denials, or other legal problems if you are eligible for our services.


Opportunities, Alternatives and Resources of Tompkins County, Inc.
At our locally run advocacy agency, we offer a wide range of liaison services to inmates and former inmates of the Tompkins County Jail. These include helping to contact loved ones, attorneys, schools, landlords and employers while you are incarcerated. We also offer guidance and help finding additional sources of support from the community and criminal justice resources.
