Open Enrollment 2026!

Welcome to 2026 Open Enrollment! Between October 14th and November 14th, all employees will have the opportunity to review current coverage elections, make changes, and add or drop spouse and dependents without restriction.

Reminder: If you have a Flexible Spending Account and wish to continue the benefit, you MUST complete a 2026 enrollment form during Open Enrollment even if you do not plan to make any other changes to elections. Failure to do so will result in termination of FSA accruals in 2026. Furthermore, the maximum amount of FSA funds eligible for rollover is $660.

Disclaimer: Eligibility for the new health plan option is dependent upon bargaining unit approval.

Fitness and Weight Management Program

 

Blue4U Wellness Incentive Program

Tompkins County employees may be reimbursed for fitness facility membership, participation in structured classes such as strength training, yoga or Pilates, or a weight management program, including attendance at meetings.

Tompkins County created the Blue4U Wellness Incentive program to add a financial reward to its traditional health screening, helping participants understand their health and achieve wellness goals.

The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation offers student loan repayment programs that reimburse individuals for some or all of their student loans in exchange for completing a qualifying service over a set period.
