The Facilities Department is dedicated to the efficient and effective management and operation of all County-owned and maintained buildings and grounds. This includes overseeing service contracts and administering Capital building projects to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and sustainable.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring safe and clean work environments for staff and visitors.
Performing repairs and renovations to maintain property integrity.
Updating and replacing building operation systems as needed.
Coordinating limited furniture moves.
Monitoring and managing energy consumption to promote sustainability.
Setting and regulating building temperatures for comfort and efficiency.
Managing workplace appliance usage to maintain safety and energy efficiency.
Maintaining building access systems, including the distribution of keys and fobs.
