PI Crash / DWAI Drug Arrest

On January 20th, 2017 at about 10:45AM, Deputies responded to a two vehicle personal injury motor vehicle crash at 1259 Auburn Road in the Town of Lansing.  Deputies determined that a Nissan Truck was traveling north on Auburn Road when an Mitsubishi Galant traveling south on Auburn crossed over into the northbound lane causing a collision.  The driver of the Nissan sustained non-life threatening injuries, and the Mitsubishi operator declined medical aid.  The Mitsubishi operator was identified as Jimie L NEIDLINGER (Age 47 of Lansing).  NEIDLINGER also was found to be in possession of a glass pipe containing a substance that tested positive for cocaine.

Deputies later determined NEIDLINGER was under the influence of drugs or some other substance and placed him under arrest.  He was charged with Driving While Impaired by Drugs, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Moved From Lane Unsafely, and Failure to Keep Right.  NEIDLINGER was later released to a sober relative.  He is set to appear in the Town of Lansing Court on February 7th, 2017 at 9:00AM.
