Petit Larceny

On December 9th, 2017 at 4:18 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's deputies responded to Target located at 40 Catherwood Road, Village of Lansing for a theft complaint.  Deputies interviewed Target Lost Prevention upon arrival.  Lost prevention alleged observing a female, identified as Amanda R. Giroux, age 28 of Dryden, NY, stealing merchandise from the store and exiting by all points of sale.  Deputies arrested Giroux who was charged with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor).  Giroux was issued an appearance ticket and released ordering her to return at a later date for her initial appearance.
