Personal Injury Crash

On October 12, 2019 at 2:00 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 1400 block of Coddington Road, in the Town of Danby, for a report of a one car crash with injuries.  Upon arrival deputies located a Chevrolet Silverado with extensive damage.  Deputies identified the driver of the vehicle as Kyle SMALT of Brooktondale, NY.  SMALT was transported by Helicopter to Pennsylvania.

SMALT was issued tickets for failure to keep right, speed not reasonable and prudent and operating with an open container of an alcoholic beverage.  The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Brooktondale Fire Department, Ithaca City Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance.
