On June 21st, 2019 at about 12:27 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's deputies observed a 2004 Honda Element traveling north on Elmira Road (State Route 13) near Sandbank Road in the Town of Ithaca.  The Honda had a non-working tail lamp and the windows on the rear and side of the vehicle were smashed out.  Deputies identified the driver as Catelynn B. WHITE, age 28 of Homer, NY.  Through further investigation WHITE was found to be intoxicated and refused the pre-screening breath test and the chemical test.  Deputies also located an open container of beer inside the vehicle.

WHITE was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree (Felony), No tail lamp, Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.  WHITE was later released on appearance tickets and is set to appear in the Town of Ithaca Court on July 11th, 2019 at 9:00 AM.
