DWI Arrest

On February 2nd, 2019 around 1:42 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies were on patrol on N. Triphammer Road in the Village of Lansing.  Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Rav 4 after observing several lane usage violations and lane signalling violations.  Deputies interviewed the driver, Ines V. Barrett, age 46 of Ithaca, NY.  Deputies observed signs of impairment from Barrett and conducted a DWI investigation which resulted in Barrett's arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.

Barrett was charged with Failure to Keep Right (Violation), Insufficient Turn Signal (Violation), Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor).  Barrett was released on traffic tickets ordering her to return to the Town of Lansing Court at a later date.
