DWI Arrest

On Friday, December 22nd, 2017 at 7:30 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 700 block of Auburn Road, Town of Lansing for a traffic complaint.  Deputies interviewed the complainant upon arrival, who alleged witnessing a vehicle, which had now pulled over at this point, failing to maintain lane amongst other erratic driving.  Deputies then interviewed the driver, Bruce P. Tyrrell, age 58 of Genoa, N.Y. who was operating a later model Buick Lesabre.  Deputies observed signs of intoxication and conducted a DWI Investigation which resulted in Tyrrell being arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Tyrrell was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or Greater (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Parking Violation (Violation) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation).  Tyrrell was issued appearance tickets and released ordering him to return to the Town of Lansing Court on January 23rd, 2018 at 9:00 AM.
