Petit Larceny Arrest

On December 13th, 2017 at 6:35 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Target, 40 Catherwood Road in the Village of Lansing for a theft complaint.  Deputies interviewed lost prevention officers upon arrival.  Lost prevention alleged observing a male identified as Colt R. Mcelwaine, age 29 of Ithaca N.Y. stealing several items from the store and walking past all points of sale with out making any attempt to pay.  Mcelwaine was charged with one count of Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor) and released on appearance ticket ordering him to return to the Town of Lansing Court on January 11th, 2018 at 3:00 PM.
